From the historic Greenbush Neighborhood in Madison, Wisconsin in 1924 to your table come the finest Italian sauces available today. They are made with home cooking ingredients.
The Di Salvo family has been making Italian cooking sauces for generations. Here in Madison they began with a small grocery store – Di Salvo's Imported Foods - in Madison, Wisconsin in 1924.
During the beginning 1940’s Di Salvo’s Spaghetti House, 802 Regent Street was opened. It was the premier Italian restaurant in Madison...It was the place to go. They featured their SAUCE with SPAGHETTI and MEATBALLS if you wished. DI SALVO’S was also known for their delicious GOLDEN BUTTERFLIED SHRIMP which was also a favorite with patrons.
Today the family tradition continues as Ben Di Salvo continues to make what many consider to be the essence of Italian sauces. From the Original Recipe Pasta Sauce to Sicilian Style Pasta Sauces, Clam and Alfredo Sauces and the Old World Style Pizza Sauce you won't find a better line of SAUCES anywhere....
